Yeah I've seen Forrest Gump a few times actually, and its not bad. There are so many references to it everywhere.

The Lovely Bones (I thought it was really good)

I saw the Lovely Bones, and I thought it was pretty good. I never read the book but before the movie came out it was really popular. Obviously not Harry Potter popular, but like Speak popular. Don't know why books about young girls getting raped seem to get hyped a lot. Oh, that's something that isn't clearly indicated by the Lovely Bones movie but is in the book, that the main character was raped.

The Kings Speech. I didn't see it, but I am wondering if anyone liked it as much as the academy awards did.
