"New Pokémon Game in 2010 The official site has just updated with some details stating that a brand new Pokémon game series, perhaps a fifth generation is scheduled for release on the Nintendo DS in 2010 in Japan. Further details on this game series have yet to be announced but the site has stated that it will be an RPG and the press release hinted that new Pokémon were in it. Will this series be a brand new series or the beginning of the fifth generation? We'll bring more as and when Nintendo releases information"
So, most likely, new pokemon and a whole new entire line of 5th generation pokemon will be coming soon.
What sorts of new pokemanz would you like to see? Any preforms/evolutions of already existing ones, or just purely made up ones? What kind of animals are they still missing =o

I would like to see a charizard evolution. Charizard is already the third form... it would seem kind of stupid. Plus, it would give anyone who picked charmander as a starter a huge advantage... it might be cool to just do fan art for one, but im dead set against it for being an actual pokemon I would like to more fire and dragon types Ohhh, agree I would like to see a fire/dragon pokemon Agree. Im not sure why they didnt just make charizard a fire/dragon type in the first place. I mean, i know it can fly, but again, so can salamance.. maybe they need triple-type pokemon, lol. I would like to see fusion monsters (2 monsters fusion together) Ehhh that sounds sort of stupid. I would just leave that to the fan art and the mixed sprites. I would like to see a longer storyline and a longer storyline after beating the elite four Agreeeeee. The last game they ever make should be epic as hell with that. I would like a easy, normal, hard, extreme difficult settings. Giving hardcore players a challange. (Like the first gym has like 6 pokemon that are all level 20. (There all his/her main pokemon) I like that idea. It would also give players an easier way to train their pokemon I would more then 8 gyms. I WANT 20! I think the number they have now is decent enough I want to see a legendary that evolves by leveling Kind of neutral on this. I think if they did that, it would kind of ruin the thrill of catching a cool pokemon that is already uber. I want to see new types Ohhh, remember, they still have the "???" type I predict that in the last season they'll revile what the ??? type really is. The moves that have it are Curse, and Vacuum-cut and Wide Slash in mystery dungeon. I think it might be a Spirit or Spiritual type. Any ideas? I want to see pokemon fights in 3D They already have that for PS, Wii, and Gamecube consoles, and I would prefer to keep it that way. If they made 3D pokemon games for the handheld consoles, it would lose its originality. The setup they have now is signature and its what they've been using since the original gameboy. i would, however, would like to see an online pokemon OFFICIAL rpg. Not the fan-based ones though like pokemon crater

Hmm if not a charizard evolution then a pokemon that has 4 - 6 evolution stages.
I would like a more type combinations. Like fire/water, electric/rock, grass/fire, etc
Legendary's are useless. They can't be used in the battle complex and most online fights don't allow the use of them. and most legendary's can be countered by the beast Garchomp. Nothing can beat that killing machine, well except those who know how to.
I want more dragon pokemon in this game. Theres like hardly any in every game like fire types. There should be a dragon starter pokemon or base this game on dragons. So the 3 starters are like Dragon/Fire, Water or Grass.
Triple types would be cool.
I would like a 2nd ability to be put in. So they could have Levitate and pressure. For example.
There should be better HM's and you are required to work for the HM and have to something in order to use it. Like perform a combo of keys for rock smash to work. Flying requires you to direct where to go, so you can actually fly which could make it that there is a city in the sky.
The elite four have be more epic then ever. Like epic +1. It should look x1000 awesome and be x1000 tough. ITS THE ELITE FOUR DAMMIT! The best of the best!

Thats the point... pokemon are only supposed to have three evolutions, and no more. If you want something that has the POSSIBILITY of evolving into more than three, then how about one that branches out like eevee. I would like to see a flying, dragon, and ghost eevee.

I would like to not have legendaries actually be part of the storyline (that kind of ruins the game)
I would like the ghost/dragon eevee idea that angie mentioned.
I would like MEW AND MEWTWO BACK
I would like all magikarps, zubats, geodudes, and tentacools to die a slow painful death.
I would like to actually have a "rival" again and not some mentally instable "friend" with ADHD
I would like more double battles and maybe even a two player mode where a friend could walk around with you in the game to double battle.
Actually, screw that. I would like a triple battle.

<3
I would like MEW AND MEWTWO BACK That would be cool for a next movie idea. The bad thing is though, mewtwo already went to the good side with mew and the clones, so that evil storyline is already done with. AND they already made a second movie with mewtwo. If they made another one it should be in the very last movie
I would like all magikarps, zubats, geodudes, and tentacools to die a slow painful death. or AT LEAST give us some more commen cave and water pokemon to encounter just so we have a different picture to look at.... also, you forgot wingullls T_T
I would like to actually have a "rival" again and not some mentally instable "friend" with ADHD Yeeeaaahhh. I remember when Gary was the cool one...
I would like more double battles and maybe even a two player mode where a friend could walk around with you in the game to double battle. OHH i love that idea. I just noticed how they dont have a multi-player mode like most DS games have. Well, they do have the Wifi battles... but that requires you get a Wifi thing. They need a short-distance one that dosen't involve trading

Also, speaking of mew and mewtwo, when I was watching all the episodes and movies in order -cough-, I got to the first mewtwo movie and there was a clip I noticed that came before the movie. Its called "The Origin of Mewtwo", and It wasn't included in the US movie release due to its somewhat dark storyline. I thought it was actually pretty cool. If anyone wants to watch it, here it is, its 10 minuites long though.

Oh, heres what I would like to see.
A meowth preform (drew this, i quite like it too)
A plusle and minin evolution (drew this)
A jynx and mr.mime evolution (there are some pretty cool fan art ones around the entarwebz)
A Dugtrio and Electrode evolution
More eevee evolutions (I drew some pretty awesome ones that had all the types they were missing, ill post them when i move back and can find them)
Legendary pokemon that dont actually try to destroy the world for once
A koala pokemon.. may make a cute starter
FOR MISTY TO COME BACK
For max to be old enough to catch pokemon
For piplup to not evolve. Im pretty sure they intended that to happen though anyway because they gave it too much of a personality
A vulpix preform (coming up with this one)
A psyduck preform (drew this)
theres more but ill remember them later

Level 200 or rebirths please.
Ofc they would need to release higher leveled content for this aswell.
I want it to be like Silver, Gold and Silver where it was Johto and Kanto in one.
L>original storyline + all the other games into one epic.

Now your just trying to make them like maplestory and mabinogi >_> Whats the point in having level 200 pokemon... that just means a lot more work to put into one when you could be spreading it out in to a lot more. Plus, the way they have it set out is the equivalent of a maple 200. a level 50 pokemon would just get replaced with a level 100 and they would be exactly the same. I dont get why you want to have more work lol

It would make the games longer. I am not relating it to mab or maple. I could of said any level. Its just that once a pokemon is level 100 which is not that hard to do (take what like 30 elite four spams?) After there isn't really anything to do besides enter it into the battle tower which sucks since it lowers the level to 50 which makes the point of the cap to be level 100 useless.
Making the level cap to say 150 would not only increase that pokemon's power but give it more moves and allow higher leveled trainers. Red like in silver, gold and crystal could be the ultimate trainer and have like 6 level 150's. Ofc there would be a special way to get this boost obtained ingame.
EG. To receive a flying type level cap breaker you would need to complete this course the involves controlling the pokemon through a course. They require to be level 100 to compete.
If a pokemon is two types then you would need both level cap breakers.
@Angie.
I feel bored after I get a pokemon to level 100. Why? Cause theres nothing to do with it anymore. There stats are perfected, they get lowered to 50 in battle tower and I don't have a wifi so i can't use them in online battles.
If they had my suggestion to be able to increase the cap I would be able to make my favorite pokemon stronger and access a new area in the game that has level 100+ pokemon. Uncatchable unless you have a coupon. This area would be 100+ pokemon only ofc.
As for rebirthing, it is basically turning a level 100 pokemon to a level 1 pokemon (first form) and then leveling it again to 100. Each rebirth level however double the amounts of exp needed per level.
Just suggestions.

jando... your going to eventually run out of things to do... in ANY game. When that happens maybe its just time to turn the game off and walk away to do something else for a bit. as for the level caps.. why put more hours of work into training a pokemon for another 50 levels extra just for the sake of seeing a higher number. why not just do that coupon catch thing you said but make it for level 70+s or something. If they lower the level cap to 50 in the battle tower, then all their going to do for that is raise it to 75, making it again useless to get it any higher. pretty much everything your saying can be canceled out due to them just raising the other requirements to meet that of a higher level, all that is going to do is make you spend more pointless hours on the game with basically the same power. the way they have it set now has you already spending quite some time on it without really having to bust your butt. if you want something like that, well, thats what grinding on maplestory was for, and thats why i left.
