Anime Discussion Thread

This is a thread to discuss the epicness of Bleach anime and manga. Hopefully others have read the full 375 chapters of the manga and all 238 Anime episodes.

To kick things off.

BLEACH IS EPIC!!!!

Favorite Character = Hollow Ichigo.
Why? His laugh.

2nd Favorite Character = Nel
Why? How shes says Ichigo's name "itsygo" and in Adult form she is still affectionate to Ichigo.

My favorite characaters are Urahara, Rukia and Ikkaku

How is Bleach boring?
Might check out FMA now since I've finished Bleach.

I never watched/read Bleach because someone made me promise to stay away in order to "preserve my innocence and all around well being." Not sure what he meant.

As far as FMA goessss, I haven't started on the new series, but I was IN LOVE with the old. However, I almost wish I hadn't watched it because at the end, I was just in a bad mood for a really long time, and the movie really only made it worse. Oh my goodness, I cried so hard. Harder than at the end of KH.

But I'm hopeful that they'll fix it this time around, so I can stop being bitter towards the entire series. Probably should read the manga too. THERES NO TIME FOR ALL THESE THINGS.

and that didn't give away FMA for me one bit. Just started and up to ep 4, pretty good so far.

i have a giant FMA poster in my room. it is my all time favorite anime. im pretty sure ive told you all why i liked it so much in another thread.

i am watching the new series, and ive read a hefty majority of the manga. the new series is trying very hard to stick with the manga. i personally thing that this new series is complete garbage and a waste of their time to even make. there are so many things i could list of things wrong with it, a large portion of the things have to do with the new audiance appeal they are trying to get, but whatever.

in summary: watch the original anime, and if you can try to, dont watch the movie. yes the movie sums it up, but i think it would have been an even greater anime if they left some of that stuff unanswered.

i wanna read/watch FMA. im waiting to see when they get in the first manga in the library, and ill start from there.
bleach never really caught my attention, though.

I started loving it the day I went to Josh's house and he had a few manga books and DVD's. We spent HOURS watching them until we had no more DVD's to watch or Manga to read. So we literaly ran out to the mall and bought the next DVD it was really funny XD

Side note: Ange your new hair makes you look like you're wearing a wig because you're bald or something

yeah i know, nexon didnt do the art right and they made it unproportional. its not the one i wanted anyway, i wanted the other royal hair with the pigtails (the female version of jandos hair) but this will have to do for now, the other two i got before it were much worse o-o

I don't like bleach... or for that matter any anime that drags on for over 100 episodes. As for the new FMA series.... I don't think its as good as the first. All the serious moments are usually ruined and there are freakish new characters.

I only read the manga books T-T

FMA is totally awesome, it has me hooked like a anime should. Up to episode 22 now but I have to work for 4hrs and 45mins (ew). Barry = better when he is dead.

Im hooked on naruto again -pauses for you to make a stupid joke-

Its not a bad show, if you just ignore the fact that 90% of the show is a filler. and even the fillers have really good plots. i think people dont like the show because either 1. they see the english dub, and how america ruined it or 2. see the kind of kids that like the english version and support the american version. (screaming 9 year olds with plastic shuriken and headbands)

I would hate it too, if i just watched the american version, but the japanese version is a whole other show. There is another side of emotion that you can duplicate in english with that show, and thats what makes it so good.

By the way ive seen all 220 episodes of regular naruto and im on 90 of shippuden, so its not like i just recently got into it, i just stopped watching it because i had other things to do, and now im bored again.

I just started reading Eureka Seven, but I don't know if I like it yet. I don't know, I didn't even start looking at anime till this summer, so I'm not well versed at all. So anyway, if anyone has any recommendations, they're definitely appreciated!

i hate naruto cauz they havc to learn how to fkn end it, i mean its been ages now irt startewd like 5 yrs ago right?
right now im not watching any anime cauz i cbf to dl them i just go out now, lor if im deperate get them off my sister -shudder-

I like reading Peach Fuzz. Its a 3 part manga about, guess what, ferrets. -amazed-

I also like Detective Conan, its pretty good. im deciding on weather or not if i should pick up some naruto manga while im at the library also.
and lol, pokemon is wayyy worse than naruto when it comes to episodes. they have 560 episodes and still counting, and its been running since 1998, so thats about 10 years.
If they were to ever completely end the entire pokemon franchise (first of all, i would cry), they should give it some big ass ending that will forever mark its existance. something such as ashes pikachu evolving into raichu (or possibly some new evolution of pikachu), ash becomming one of the professors, ash catching a legendary, etcetc. my votes go for pikachu evolving and them having some giant flashback of the first episodes. that would be so sad, yet so epic and seems like just the right thing to end the entire series -steals shens nerdsnort-

What about...
Ash and Pikachu get separated from their 'group' and so everyone is looking for them. In the meantime, Ash grows to at least 15-18 and Pikachu finds a strange orbish thingimagjig that makes him evolve without warning into the Diachu or something. Ash sees his taunted and cursed pokemon and tries his hardest to try and get pikachu back. He gets off the island and goes back to his original home (pallet?) where oak gives him the Omega Master ball to catch Pikachu back.
Diachu then becomes smaller and stays Pikachu's original size. Everyone is happy that Ash is back and Ash shows his ultimate pokedex to Oak. Who finally decides to make him the new professor of Pallet town because he wants to retire.

That's all I could really come up with. I don't like it myself too much... But it's an idea o-o

i dont watch it much cauz pretty much the whole show is a filler, i mean they meet a guy help him./her nvr talk bout it again
and my ending is that
pikachu evolves to sum rare evolution, ash ends up helping gary (who was awsum til he turned nerd) with his pokemon research crap, and ash FINALLY CATCHES HO-OH who he has been folowwing since the start of the series, and brock finally gets a girl friend and also he OPENS HIS EYES ICHIMARUY STYLE AND THEY ARE RED AND AWSUM, and its done forever, nvr to appear in another movie/ tv series agfain and to stick to the games that are getting pretty boring
