JandoVirus Z - Official thread

Well I've made the name a bit more clean and will put the little teaser i made in the first episode and this will be the thread where i'll post everything; script, charater bio's, map, sounds and more.

I'll make epic bio's on every single characters in this story. Prop a page each O.O

OMFG!!! Episode 1 script is complete. I'll upload it to file front when I finish the color coding and adding music. I'll also upload or find the background package where you can make your own backgrounds.

NOTE: I got up to episode 3 already planned and I might take a break for doing anything more other then get the music ready because I need to work on my r.e (Religious Education :O) assignment (due May 18th) And my oral speech (May 11th) Then I got exams from the 1st - 5th of June. But after that I believe I can start animating.


Also still not sure if I should use flash or sony vegas.
I'll use both prob.

Well enjoy the 1st episode..I stayed till 12am last night trying to get it finished then woke up at 6am to finish the colorcode and music.

talking about religion over here is banned at our schools, people get into too many religious fights. with exceptions for the schools spacifically ment for religion of corse x-x
that would probly explain why some of us at our school are agnostic/aithiest. well... theres only about 5 maybe, including myself, but all of those people are part of my group xD

very interesting in a funny way for some reason

taking it down since I need to edit somethings. I need to replace one of Jando's lines and remake the epic ending O.O

This series is heavily based on DBZ season 2 and has a tad bit of alien in it. Ima also try and make it sorta a horror O.O

Ep 1: Someone gets raped (thats not in dbz, -might be similar to goku getting sick-
Ep 2: A village is destroyed (rofl, gingertown)
Ep 3: Someone dies (O.O Doesnt tien and yarmcha die?)
Ep 4: Someone is absorbed (Goodbye Android 17)
Ep 5: Another person is aborbed (NUU KRILLON!! YOUR GF IS GETTING ABSORBED -sucks to be android 18-)
Ep 6: Final Showdown part 1 (O.O goku vs cell -I must include the epic instant tranmssion kemahame in this scene-
Ep 7: Final Showdown part 2 (Gohan vs Cell and the epic FATHER+SON Kamehame)
Ep 8: Funny ending =3 -They try and resurrect goku but he is like no way man-



So I plan to make this an 80min series (10mins ea). This will take an epiccally long time since I will have to use photoshop to create custom sprites and If ever bored of making the series. Ima go make a opening. ^.^ I expect to complete it by sometime November so that's like 6 months

During that if I get Flash creating block i'll create a full bio of each character.



I'll do every episode in this order:

1. Plan the episode in my mind (Basicly a brainstorm were I organize lines, whats going to happen, music)
2. Write the script 20%
3. Record the voices 5%
4. Edit the voices 5%
5. Make all the sprites needed for the episode 5%
6. Edit some of the sprites in Photoshop 5%
7. Make the maps and animate them 20%
8. Animate characters (Yes I am going to make there mouths move) 20%
9. Record flash with CamStudio (Way more easy then getting a flash to avi converter) (not counted as a %)
10. Open up Sony Vegas and add the flash, music, subtitles, voices, ending credits. 20%
11. Render it (Not counted as a %)
12. Post it on Youtube/filefront (Not counted as a %. I'll upload it on filefront incase youtube is noob and decides to mute my video)


Time estimated on this episode:
4 - 6weeks
Remember this will be the new maple for me so i'll be on it for like 24/7. That was one of the probs for Kish. He had social life, maple, etc. My social life is orly computer based with you guys and I don't play maple. And my typing speed and accurucy is improving greatly thanks to QWERTY warriors so I can wiz past the scripts easily and my upcoming assignments and exams will be done in no time and I got the school holidays to work on it aswell. Mabigoni hasn't really caught my addicted side so I won't be Mabigoni that much. I got awesome tuts to help me along they way and you will soon see an epic series...


This series has EPICALLY AND STRONGLY BASED on the DBZ season 2 and I'm not sure that I'm going to add a alien theme into it all. Might, might not I don't know depends how episode one turns out O.O

O.O Rofl I'm editing ep 1 again, changing scene 3 around and maybe scene 1 not sure. Scene 2 is good but I'm not sure if I should keep Alex's orly slow. May make it orly fast then I can make lie his orly hyper. (States why he is show fast and his Hastaga skill is uber pwnage).

Cool, I use a touchpad (Laptop FTW but I can use a mouse aswell), GIMP - (Like a free version of photoshop) and bannedstory


Step 1: Get a plain body from bannedstory
Step 2: Put it in a layer in GIMP
Step 3: Make Ocpacity 50 - 80%
Step 4: Make another layer and lock the other
Step 5: Trace the things you want to change
Step 6: Edit them till you like what you got
Step 7: Lock them and unlock the body layer
Step 8: Erase the parts that don't fit
Step 9: ColorWheel the body so it looks like it wasnt altered
Step 10: Add hair, face, clothes, weapons.
Step 11: Repeat for each frame you want (If your making them run or something, copying and pasting is a good idea)
Step 12: Save as whatever
Step 13: Add them to flash
Step 14: Make a movie clip
Step 15: 1st frame add the 1st sprite you made
Step 16: click 4 frames away from that one and add a key frame
Step 17: Add the 2nd Frame in
Step 18: Repeat until you got all your sprites there
Step 19: On the main screen. - add you movie clip
Step 20: Crlt enter or just enter will play it
Step 21: Move your movie clip to one of the sides (depends what way your sprite is facing)
Step 22: Make a key frame
Step 23: Click about 60 - 100 frames away from that key frame (The lower the frame gap is the faster the movie clip will reach the other side)
Step 24: Add another key frame
Step 25: Move your movie clip to the other side
Step 26: Add motion tween
Step 27: Play and enjoy your character running from left to right or right from left
