First topic message reminder :

after the last 14 years of my life, i have finally found a way to make money. LAWN SERVICEEEE~!@ -took me 3 hours to get the lawnmower started-
well, that was mostly because i forgot to press the gass button... x_x
ANYWAY
mowing the lawn isnt really that hard, so i figured i can make some money off of it since i just learned how to do it, my dad already payed me $15 to do ours, so i might go around and ask if people want their lawns done to make some money
...and im finally beginning to save up for something ive wanted since i was 7... A FERRET X3
they cost like, $100 alone, and thats not including the $60-$70 cage, the bed, food, leash, and other ferrity appliances, but if i keep going at it, im sure i can make enough eventually~

i went to a flea market today and...and...and i found this guy who sells nothing but customized cages and rabbit/crawfish traps since that stuff sells good in louisiana...andandand i found a really nice 24 by 24 cage....and i thought it would be really nice for a ferret so i thought about getting it.... and the guy said he would even add an extra level and a latter for an extra 5 dollars...soo...I GOT IT x]
and guess how much it was total?

and its perfact. its huge, has a lot of space and bottom compartment for a litter pan, and the same if not better than the one at petco. and i saved A HELLA LOT
so... lets see... that changes everything... need to add the hammoc back... -gets calculator and redoes totals-

i went to petco with mum cause i decided that instead of just buying everything at once, i would just buy the things bit by bit and use up the $35 i had. i was just gonna get the ferret book and the hammoc, and we JUST SO HAPPENED to look at the ferret cage, and saw this really pretty silver panda ferret, and mum really liked it and... well ill just act it out from here -gets sock puppets-

mum: oh look at that pretty ferret
me: yes really pretty isnt it -goes and gets book and hammoc-
mum: -goes and gets water bottle and harness-
me: mum why did you get that? i told you i was going to pay for it and i dont have enough for those
mum: yes i know, im buying it
me: why?
mum: because i wanted to pick it out
me: kay
-walk by ferret cage again-
me: MUUUM can we ask the pet store guy to open the ferret cage so i can see the pretty sinver one? =D
mum: sure -calls store clerk-
-store clerk opens cage and i pick up ferret-
me: LOOK HOW ADORABLE HE IS 8D
mum: I LOVE HIM -buys-

and ive already figured out a few things about him... o.o
1) hell fall and stumble off anything like a daring drunk idiot xD
2) when he falls asleep, you can pick him up, move him, poke him, and he wont even wake up. i picked him up and he curled up in my hand and fell asleep xD (ferrets are weird, they can expand to be as long as a 2 feet and retract to fit the size of a small bowl o_o)
also, hes just a baby right now. hes gonna get much bigger x]

psh hes not gonna knaw, ferrets dont do that, only rodents do o-o
ferrets are a type of polecat, or something really close to it
so they have cat-like teeth, not rodent teeth that constantly grow x-x
they can, though, bite like cats o_o
wich is why im getting him treats and gonna train him not to bite. and when he goes bite, im supposed to grasp him by the scruff, say NO loudly, and put him down and ignore him for 5 mins

lol the funny thing is, dad doesnt even know we got it yet XD
he knew i was trying to save up for a ferret, but he never thought i would ever actually get that far- muchless getting it TODAY
were waiting for him to eventually figure it out XD
but him being half blind and the ferret being in my room wich he never goes in, that could take over a month x.x
