Ive always wondered

How does Christmas in Aussie work? Like, do you picture santa clause wearing his big red suit with his reindeer in the snow, or do you picture him in shorts on a sandy beach in the sun? I dont see how Christmas works there because the whole theme pretty much revolves around snow. I just thought it would be cool to go to a gift shop there and see little Christmas nick nacks that revolve around sandy beaches instead of snowy wastelands
