Hey guys, sorry for my huge absence as you all have probably noticed. I explained a little in a previous post, so yeah. Im sorta back now though, and I try to pop in every great once in a while. I definitely didnt forget about you guys, and I try to come on the forums every chance I get, only, lately I havnt been getting a lot of those chances for the computer at all.
I feel bad for on the rare occasion that I do get on to do something for school and dont check the forums. Even Facebook, as Jando for some reason posted earlier, if you look the last actual post that didnt deal with asking if it was A or B day tomorrow at school (or some other school related thing), my last actual post was around sometime in early October. Which is probably when you all started noticing my absence.
And yes, its mainly school-related.. and I just havnt been at my house or have had time for computer at all lately.
BUT... (bum bum bum)
Im at home now and Dylan just so happens to be here (if you all dont remember, my boyfriend) and that new expansion for World of Warcraft, Cataclysm, that hes been waiting for for years just got released today... so now im probably going to lose him for a few hours or days to that horrid thing.
So, while hes going to be busy with that, I thought about coming back and (drum roll) playing Maple for a while. I dont know who still plays, if any, but I just thought it might be fun for a reunion. I hear theres this big new patch out called the Big Bang.
I dont know all that much about it except that a lot of classes are getting updates again and I hear something about new graphics and new worlds, and another exp curve... like now it only takes 50% of the exp to get to 200 now. I apparently missed a lot, like Dual Bladers and that new Resistance class and I think there was another class or something. So yeah, thought Id try it out and see how Maple is these days. Im currently reinstalling maple right now as I type: but only at 14% so far. Ill post back and reply when its done to let anyone know if anyone wants to meet up or anything. Meantime ill be taking a shower and playing some Fossil Fighters while I wait :3

So, thats pretty much it. How have things been going around the forums/on Maple?

Omar tried to organize a reunion on maple not too long ago, and it didn't work out. I'm not going to be able to take up MS seriously for a long time, if ever, but I'm more than willing to come back for a reunion or get together.

The forums are also essentially dead. It's hard to keep up a conversation between everybody since we don't have a common interest anymore. What I mean is, some of us are into pokemon, some of us are following new games, and so no matter the thread topic, it always dies since we can't muster the participation from every member. A "what has everyone been up to thread" only goes so far.

At any rate, it's good to hear from you Angie. You are a vital part of this community, and it suffers when you aren't around.

And yeah.. I see where your getting at. It was a lot easier when we all played Maple, when we all had one consecutive subject to talk about all the time and all had something in common with. But I guess ever since we all quit, we all lost that one thing we all had in common. And as you said, we all tried talking about things of our own personal likes, but they all ended up in their own little separate conversations and not everyone could be included...
I just wish we could all find something in common again that we all like.. that dosnt really take up a whole lot of time. Time is something that I guess we all sorta lost... or actually gained in a sence. Playing an RPG with a bunch of geektards pretty much means you have more than enough time in your life to waste. But since we all found other things to do in life other than wasting it, the time spent for that pretty much dwindled down.
But, there is still one thing... were all still here, still talking to eachother, and still trying to keep in touch no matter what. Just because we played a game together dosnt have to mean that we all have to disband once we quit that game. We still have one thing, and thats that we still all talk to each other. Im sure eventually one day we can find something again and keep it going as we did for that long period of time...

Im not too sure really yet. Id like to see how things are going first before I decide on that. Check out any events that are going on and see what this Big Bang thing is all about

I've literally forgotten all the nooby places to train, hasn't been much parties lately and not much is planned for the holidays except for getting buff...
So, yes. I'd love to come back. If we stick together we might not get bored in the first 20 minutes of gameplay. Now where the hell did we used to train at level 10... Eleena? OH Ellinia? Or kerning town? FUCK haven't played that game in so long, back to my noobish ways ;D

Anyway... well I got bad news. I fell asleep last night while maple was downloading so thats why I didnt get on. It was taking too long anyway and by the time it would have finished I would have been too late and I would have had to go to bed anyway... And I dont know if for sure I can be on tonight because im going somewhere. Im going to try putting maple on my flash drive though and see if I can play where im going to be at

Seeing as that seems to have already been fulfilled, I wouldn't mind trying it again. I agree on starting from scratch though (hard to do stuff together when 10s of levels apart). Well, I'd probably wait til winter break starts though.
