kMST 1.2.318 ~ This nigga crazy

I saw this link a while ago and my head exploded. The maplestory that is out right now in america is NOTHING like what they released in korea now. (well they are testing it, its still not released) EVERYTHING changes.

This is a poor translation anyways, some chick found it on the korea website and translated it. So nothing is 100% positive yet, but most of it is going to be implemented in their next patch, which means we will get it... in half a year? The biggest thing i think is what they are doing with A/Ms and bishops. The cool down timer is now 30 seconds, so now on basil people are exploding and talking about quitting their mages. But also all of the damage formulas and everything are changing, and skills are changing as well. So who knows, mages might be able to boss now.

But yeah WOOWWWWW. Thats a crap load. Maplestory is getting a complete whole new facelift, Range classes will finally not whack things with their bow or claw and just use their skills when their close to the mob, sounds like vic is getting changed completely, practially all the buffs are getting run together in one skill.. and even more than that. This will be the patch that I start playing on again lol.. too bad its a long time from now

Also, by the looks of it, it looks like their completely getting rid of monster books and cards. Darn. I wanted to catch em' all

They were pretty useless, they should raise the drop count, but it gives all the info and the permament attack boost

Did anyone else notice they're talking about Australian continents?

And I dont think "Austrailian" was really meant to be put in there lol... I think that was part of bad translation. But who knows, maybe there will actually be.

But yeah, monster books were completely useless. Nexon realized that its much easier to cheat the system and google a monster rather than spend hours collecting its card to get its information. Pretty pointless.

Also, it sucks for pallys now. They get all their charges taken away.. unless they plan to fuse that together into one skill too or have it to where when you hit the monster it automatically detects its element weakness

Can't you see it? Axe and Blunt are the least used weapons, so they're getting taken off.
It was probably a typo, I think the blunt weapon charges are meant to be taken out and not sword charges
plus ange... have you ever maxed the info on a monster...? It's not just HP, MP, description, you get drop and exp bonuses and you do more damage to them while the do less damage to you.
I think that instead of having the monster drops, you go to some sort of library and you harvest information for them, so you have to kill 1000 and collect 500 of their etc, or if they dont have etc, kill 2000. After which you get the description and the bonuses and the such.

Yeah but the only cards anyone ever really maxed were noob monsters, which was pointless. And so where the crappy exp and drop thingys

All skills that improve your weapon are being removed, its going to be there by default now. At least that is my understanding. As in, FA, booster, and mastery are gone. It looks gunslingers are becoming the best class on the game... and they use to be one of the worst. Also SE is getting nerfed unfortunately. But this is all in testing, so we aren't sure that all of this is going to be in it. I am excited for the new interface though. But i really hope i am not playing this game when it does come out.

Mastery got reduced to 50% mastery and is now +60 acc
Boosters are just one skill (sword/axe becomes 1 booster)
Alot of skills are nerfed and all classes get like 2 - 4 new skills
classes with crit get there crit nerfed.
classes without crit get a crit skill

To me this MEGA patch sucks at the moment with all the skill nerfs. But considering this KMST picture (The power of % equips)

So pretty much... this patch is going to either be extremely bad, or extremely good

It will be good for some and bad for others. Unfortunately bad for me since i am a wizard. For most classes its good though. I think anybody 'stat-less' however is going to be screwed.

Like me. Im a blaze wizard AND evan, plus both of them happen to be lukless. FUNNNNNNN
