I saw this link a while ago and my head exploded. The maplestory that is out right now in america is NOTHING like what they released in korea now. (well they are testing it, its still not released) EVERYTHING changes.

This is a poor translation anyways, some chick found it on the korea website and translated it. So nothing is 100% positive yet, but most of it is going to be implemented in their next patch, which means we will get it... in half a year? The biggest thing i think is what they are doing with A/Ms and bishops. The cool down timer is now 30 seconds, so now on basil people are exploding and talking about quitting their mages. But also all of the damage formulas and everything are changing, and skills are changing as well. So who knows, mages might be able to boss now.

They're cutting down EXP by a lot too, so easier to level.
What about the level 200's?
They work their butt of to get there and now its much easier to get there for other people.
Same for anyone above level 1.

I love how you guys ignore the +% equips KMS already has. With +% gear, damage ranges can go to insane levels. So statless classes won't lose out.

However if GMS gets this MEGA patch before the item potential system (+% equips) then maple will be broken.

Wouldn't that give regular builds the upper hand since they can weild better armor then..

I hope they give out free sp and ap resets to everyone with an already existing char. Otherwise I can picture a hell of a lot of people quitting.

or they'd just give you your sp back.
Booster is taken out, so it's either moved to the other booster, or refunded the sp
thrust is becomming mastery 10 instead of mastery 20, so you'd probably get 10 sp back if you maxed ;D
