My thoughts on each:

Chiramii: A Chinchilla, or mouse, that's a normal type with a move that hits multiple times, it's not like we've seen that before.

Munna: Seriously? Another pig? And a psychic type to boot? Wasn't Spoink enough? If Telekinesis Prevents your opponent's Pokemon from hitting you for a turn, I can accept it.

Gear: I'll give you one guess on what kind of Pokemon it is and what type. Has an interesting attack and its abilities were special to two Pokemon of the 3rd Gen. Can anyone see a Magnemite-Magneton evolution sequence here?

Mamepato: Another normal-flying type. This one is more interesting than others due to its abilities Super Luck and an ability that prevents defense from lowering, useful against Screech/Metal sound users.

Hihidaruma: A Fire ape, this guy is basically a Primeape but a fire type. At first glance, it's ability seems to only be useful in double battles and most likely will be.

Shimama: An electric zebra, plain and simple. Has an ability exclusive to one 4th gen Pokemon and a move similar to Volt Tackle.

Meguroko: A sand crocodile, very interesting concept, ability and type. A ground-dark, something we haven't seen before but will most likely hinder it as it gains more weaknesses. It's ability makes it stronger as more of your opponent's Pokemon are knocked out, probably better as a sweeper.

Other new info:

Dr. Araragi: FEMALE professor of the Isshu region with a Chiramii

Reshiram: The moment of truth, Dragon-Fire type people and it's the White Yang Pokemon with an ability called Turbo Blaze.

Zekrom: It's true, this guy is an Dragon-Electric type, it's the Black Ying Pokemon and has the ability Terra Voltage.

Zorua: Get it from transferring the Celebi you get from seeing the movie.

Zoroark: Has new attack called Night Burst, unknown what it does.

C Cog: New feature in the game that allows you to play with certain connection capabilities, kinda like a filter.

Random Match: New feature in Pokemon center Global Terminal, allows you to play freely with anyone in the world.

Other stuff on the site includes new Pokedex look which I think is pretty cool, with a map and some parts of the Isshu region

With the new info on the Legendaries, I am to further believe that the final Legendary has to do with Ying-Yang balance and the third version will be either called Gray or Ying-Yang. If this Ying-Yang thing is the case, I think it would have been better to name the games Version Ying and Version Yang, but it has to be a color so meh.

Heres my analysis:

Chiramii (chinchilla): Fudging adorable, I accept this one. Although I agree the electric mouse is overused, it would have been better as a fire type maybe. But the overall design is cute and it fits my book of a pokemon. Would have preferred this as a fire starter than the fire pig we got..

Munna (pink pig thing): ...it looks like an easter egg with feet. Its very creepy and kinda frightens me. Dislike.

Gear (gears...) : Reminds me too much of the magnemite family... and im hoping that "gear" isnt going to be the english name too. I guess its cool for japanese kids that dont know english, but its stupid for english kids because its such a simple obvious name. Little more creativity please.

Mamepato (pigeon): Ok. A pigeon, coulda seen that coming. Its coo. The eyes look a little lifeless and scaryish though

Hihidaruma (fire monkey) : This thing is scaryyy... it looks kinda like an orangutan. This one and the floating easter egg are probably my least favorite

Shimama (zebra): Alright, finally a zebra pokemon. Im ok with this one. It almost reminds me of a stantler.

Meguroko (crocodile) : Interesting ground-dark type. Colors kinda remind me of hipopotas. Hes alright, kinda creepy eyes and face though

Other new info:

Dr. Araragi: Woo, another female prof. Im good with that

Reshiram: Curses, I was hoping for the dragon light type... D: But oh well, fire is alright.

Zekrom: The expected dragon electric type. Although... dosnt make much sense. The types dont really fit with the theme... fire and electric are practically both light. Idk why they didnt just go dark and fire or light.

The new pokedex loos like an iPod nano. But looks cool

I still think the third version will be something like Pokemon Balance if they plan on going with the plot theme, or Pokemon Gray if they plan on going with the color theme

Woahh heres a really interesting thing from pokebeach (im starting to like pokebeach better than serebii because they give out a lot more info than them):

Quite the random description, with no Pokemon since now ever fitting it. There has been a rumor circulating on the Internet for years and years that Gamefreak originally created more than 1,000 Pokemon designs, and while we know that some Pokemon were delayed a generation (like Shellos and Gastrodon, originally for Ruby and Sapphire), who would think that after almost 15 years they would actually use a concept from that far back? Was Mun'ma a rough idea that long ago or even a near-complete design? Seems like Gamefreak is really scraping the barrel if that's the case. ...thats pretty interesting, even though this is probably my lease favorite of the new pokemon so far. And I didnt know that shellos and gastrodon were meant to be 3rd gen pokemon either. I wonder what other pokemon were meant to be in other gens... better yet, Id like to see those 1,000 designs

Mhm. Although I like the idea of triple battles, and the plot not revolving around getting the badges. Although you can tell some of those rumors may be false because one of them says that reshiram is dragon/ice, which is obviously now a false rumor

Triple battles are too troublesome, double battles are fine. With the badges, I always liked badges so I'd hate it if they removed that system.

Yeah, I like the badge system too, but I think it would be cool if the whole game didnt revolve around that like all the other past games did. It gets a little repetitive. It would be cool if they kept the system but made the game revolve around something other than that for once. Like getting the badges would be more of a side quest type thing

True, true, its just that this game is full of surprises, who knows what GameFreak will pull out next?

This guy that posted on the pokebeach forums kinda made a good point on things. Just thought Id share:

Now that they have settled in, I like them a lot (still not sure about the pink pig/pillow/possible butt). And why does everyone hate Gear? It's name will be changed when the English versions of the game come out anyway. It's pretty common for the Japanese names to sound generic like that.

See the trend? Like I said, it's quite common for the JP names to be a bit generic sounding, especially for those of us who speak English. Toungue That said, I don't think their designs are that bad. Let's say Gen 1 and Gen 3 switched spots. Treecko, Sableye, etc. were our 1st Gen Pokemon while Pokemon like Bulbasaur, Koffing, Doduo, etc. were our 3rd Gen (or in this case, 5th Gen).

People would be posting things like, "huh?? A purple ball that's made of gas? It's HORRIBLE!" or "Ditto is so freaking stupid. It's a PINK BLOB! They are running out of ideas! A pink blob? Really?"

Those are even worse then the first ones they showed... I actually got used to those, but these just seem way too unusual to be pokemon.. they look like yu-gi-oh or digimon now. So far my hopes for fifth gen are slowly dying D:

You've put your expectations way to high, were getting liker 200 new pokemon? There bound to be some that you don't like. We've only seen the first 20 or so. I like them so far, mainly due to the 3v3 battle.

To be honest, on the fake page, I like the fist and third one as evolutions for piplup. Especially the third. I like them better than the real ones they have now actually. They really made prinplup and empoleon kind of ugly looking
