From my vague understanding, Lars, a placebo is a fake medication that is given to someone to trick them into thinking they will get better when really it has no effect.......... or something like that.

That's not really vague understanding, that's exactly what it is. Usually it's a sugar pill, but as long as it's something that doesn't do anything, like an advil, it'll work.

Plus that happens with chicks that are on the pill, they have to remember to take pills everyday, so they take a sugar pill every day that they dont need the actual pill so they keep routine. BLAH
