Why are so many political figures these days criminally incompetent..

I find George Bush somewhat lovable. Sure, he shouldn't of been president, but he's a nice guy, probably fun to be around.

I think 90% of the people that make fun of george bush for being stupid, don't know anything about him. Sure he has no public speaking skills at all, and is overall really goofy. But the decisions he made as president weren't all his doings, he was influenced by his father and a lot of other people in the house. (I watched a movie about him called W. It really changed my perspective on him) But i agree with the fact that he says some stupid shit.

Well, that's the same with any president. The president is always the scapegoat, whether they actually did anything wrong or not. Like people are calling Obama a liar now, because health care reform still hasn't been passed, but Obama doesn't have the power to write or vote on bills, he just signs or vetoes them. And with the war for Bush, although he is commander in chief, I'm sure he had advisors telling him that it was the right thing to do.

I think it was a pretty crappy timing to start up a healthcare reform in the first place...

You mean because of the economy?

I don't know enough about the economy to really say, but I know that health care is one of those things where if it isn't universal by the time I graduate, I'm probably moving to Canada. It would've been nice if it had been fixed before we were so far in debt, eh? < see, I've been practicing just in case!

Well in retrospect EVEN if universal healthcare is implamented it'll be pretty crappy, no doubt in our current situation. o-o;

Americas situation in general.

Even if it were crappy, its better then having a system where we tell sick people to wait to die, just because they couldn't get insurance. A step in the right direction is better than no effort at all.

I still don't understand but MEH... Imma jsut lay around here to rest :3
