A few weeks ago I asked my girlfriend if she wants to go the next step for my birthday, she agreed. A few days later I came home from work and saw that she painted our stairs. FML

I bursted out laughing when I read this:

Today, I went to the doctor to get a pulled arm muscle checked. I told him I had been bowling, and it had just started to hurt badly. He said it was normal for a man of my age (35) to pull a muscle when lifting a ball of 12-15 pounds. I then told him it was on my son's Wii. FML

That guy Is Beyond an Epic Fail

That Guy > Epic Fail

And another one X_X

Today, I saw my four-year-old son running around outside, and copying everything our dog was doing. I thought it was cute, so I went to grab the camera. When I went back outside, I saw my dog eating a dead rabbit, and my son doing the same. FML

FML is unpopular now. Not saying they aren't funny, just all my cool popular friends tell me its unhip, and now they all read MLIA and texts from last night.

i think i like FML better. MLIA seems exactly the same, only a ripoff. and you know how i feel about ripoffs (unless MLIA came first, making FML the ripoff)

I think if you read MLIA more Angie, you'd like it better, because its all nerd humour, and there are a lot of pokemon references. It pokes fun at FML, but I don't consider it a rip off.

Like for instance, on FML, these are the pokemon quotes:
http://www.fmylife.com/search/result?texte=4b26d00d43c38&article=1&from=top

And these are the ones on MLIA:
http://mylifeisaverage.com/search/?cx=004853935101743099749%3A0tu2l0j2_fm&cof=FORID%3A11&ie=UTF-8&q=pokemon&sa=Search&siteurl=mylifeisaverage.com%2F#1332

Lol, see how MLIA caters to your nerdiness. MLIA is like my mecca. I feel at home when reading those quotes... I never knew there were other people on this planet that love Harry Potter, Narnia, and Where's Waldo as much as I!

lol i guess your right, their pokemon quotes are more detailed.

here are some of my favorites from both of the sites:

Today, I went to Victoria's Secret to get sized. I put the card that says my size in my pocket, then went to the movies with my boyfriend. When the person at the counter asked me to hand them my ticket, I reached into my pocket and handed it to them. It wasn't the ticket. It was my bra size. FML

Today, I bought the film 'March of the Penguins'. I sat down and watched few minutes of a dull documentary anticipating the moment that a baby penguin would jump up and start dancing. When nothing happened, I realised the 'March of the Penguins' and 'Happy Feet' were not the same film. FML

Today, I dropped my pencil in Bio and I leaned over to attempt to pick it up. Next thing you know it I tipped the desk over and I crashed onto my crush's lap with my face in his crotch. FML
(this totally seems like something that would happen to me)

Today, my mother thought it would be okay to take my camera and erase all of my pictures that included my graduation, party, and my sisters wedding. Her excuse? "We need more room for Katie's birthday." Katie is our pet cat. FML

Today, I was sitting in class and for some reason could not get the Pokemon theme song out of my head. I tried to hum it quietly under my breath, but stopped when I realized two of my guy friends were looking at me. I would have been embarrassed if they hadn't taken up where I had left off, singing audibly enough for everyone around us to hear. Eventually, our entire side of the had joined in, except for a freshman who looked at us like we were insane. We're seniors. MLIA

Today, I took my little sister to see New Moon. A few minutes into the movie, while there was a close-up shot of Edward's face, a nerf gun dart hit him straight in the eye. I turned around to see about a 70-year-old-old man wielding a nerf gun who shouted "GO TEAM JACOB!" and hobbled out of the theatre on his cane. MLIA

MLIA > FML from that quote alone.
