everyone was saying that 2012 movie was fucked up, im kind of scared of the whole thing now.....

The whole concept that 2012 movie is based off of is just stupid. Quite frankly, if the Mayans/Aztecs (WHATEVER) were so smart, and could see the future, how come they didn't see Cortez and his crew coming? HMMMM?!

oh psh, i dont believe that whole 2012 crap. theres no way they can predict it. there are no signes of complete destruction. the only thing happening is some arrangement of planets that you can look up that has nothing to do with destruction

I believe it might happen out of the slightest possibility but at the same time I believe it won't happen since predicting something is based on pure luck or evidence of it. You never know, they could use the Hydron Collier and create a black hole but what are the chances it will work since when they turned it on it still had a period of time before it could actually work.

All these end of the world things are based mainly of Religion. If we didn't have Religion then not only would these end of the world things exists but technology would be much more advanced.

So Jando's verdict on the world ending on 2012, 21st of December is 69.

I get what you're saying but that's not the premise the movie is based off of though. Its based off the idea that they predicted the specific date on their calandar, 2012, as the day the world would end. But hollywood should be careful presenting these ideas because these kind of things can create a self fulfilling prophecy.

You know what does scare me though, is Nostradamus stuff. Its scary how accurate some of the stuff he said turned out to be, although I think you could probably interpret that brouhaha any way you wanted. But still, watching those specials scare the crap out of me, I get so paranoid.

In my opinion the closest thing to the judgment day is when the sun blows up =/

agreeeeeeed. that was also one of my thoughts... what do they really expect to happen when nothing has been foreseen. a fire, maybe. you cant really foresee that. but the worst possible thing a fire can probly most likely do is consume a small state... even if it somehow magically does consume a whole continate, it would just be that continate and theres no way it could spread any further.
