I would normal luk. Even being normal luk when you a blaze wizard your still gonna be stronger then other normal mages such as clerics and wizards. (Ck's get 70 more sp then Adventurers)

k so the stats for a mage is luk= lv+3 and also when do i stop adding or change how much i add?

correct. A mage caps his/her luk so they can meet the required luk to equip there end game wep.

wands are cheaper
staffs can get stronger

umm not really. There is no differences in Staffs or Wands except the way they look at lvl requirement to equip them. Wand are somewhat faster though I think.

You could have a slow weapon and you'd cast at the same speed as a person with a faster weapon

ive heard that
wands are faster but weakler but also slightly cheaper

The only difference that I know is that wands are faster at casting explosion (3rd job f/p skill) then staffs other then that there is no difference. Just go with the ones your like better.
