hmm...i bet all the pokemon names have a certain meaning to them =.=
for example, pikachu got its name cause 'pika' means a spark of lightning in japanese and 'chu' is what they refer to as the noise a mouse makes
charmander got its name because 'char' means to burn and 'mander' is part of 'salamander'
darkrai got its name because 'dark' is the english word we all know the meaning of, and 'Kurai' is dark in japanese, so combined the two= Darkrai = Darkdark lol
vulpix got its name cause of the scientific term for fox is Vulpine

i still have the original GAME BOY COLOR -pwned- and i have pokemon GOLD -pwned- and i play it REGULARLY -also pwned-
and i also have pokemon diamond, with every possible pokemon you can get on it, and i didnt use cheats (darkrai, shaymin, and arceus i got from traders on serebii, so their the only ones that were hacked cause they arnt released yet -with the exception of darkrai- he got released during the 2008 movie event in japan)
i also got around 20 lvl 100s, 5 or 6 good shinies, an event jirachi, celebi, and deoxys, i got PokeRus, and i got a few EV pokemon
