well, its 16 you can start your learning permits
then you a do test, then you got your Red and Green P's
you can get your L's at 16, do 120 hours, a test, then Red P's for 1 year when youre 18, and Green P's for three years when youre 19

well your driver permits and tests have diffrent name than ours do ._.
the age diffrence is diffrent here as well

Learners = 16 years old
*120 driving hours, including driving at night.
*Test before getting the 'P's

Red 'P' plate = 18 years old
*1 year

Green 'P' plate = 19 years old
*3 years

the red and green plate thingys wasnt there in the beggining...but the fking dickheads who raced on the streets at night and got themselves killed...
changed things...and so we have to suffer the consequences...more rules...T_T

in georgia, its 15 for permit, 16 for license. i know in other countries it takes a long time, like in canada i think there are 3 phases or something. and you dont get to the final phase until 21 (im not sure if thats all accurate)

coz thatz watz happened here...
and in my suburb...
there was about 6 or 7 people in that one car...drink driving...
and the driver ['P' plater] killed all his friends but he himself didnt die [coz he was wearing a seat belt]... Evil or Very Mad
