This is a thread i found on basil, and i couldnt resist posting it. best scam story ever.

(this isnt mine btw, the one on basil)
"I'm in Mardia Fm spamming "B> Cilbis 65m, Balanced Furies 45m"
This guy name MaroonBullet trades me
<Accepts Trade>
Me: Hi
Him: Hi, i have balance furies in storage
Me: ok go get them and i will buy for 45m
Him: if you give me half i will go get them then you give me other half when i trade you them
Me: lol how about you just go get them and I pay you all of it then
Him: Cuz thats not how i work
Him: I do this all the time
Him: i dont scam, i do this with lvl 100's all the time
Me: lol this is the lamest scam ever
Him: Tell you what, ill give you cilbis and balnced furies if you trade me half now
Me: lol tell you what, since you seem like a nice guy i will make a deal with you
Him: ?
Me: i will give you 700mil if you just show me the stars, you dont even need to give me them, just show me
Me <puts up 700m in trade>
Him: if you trade me that, i will give you 3 sets of ilbis, cilbis, and balance furies
Me: well all you have to do is show me them and i will give to you for free
Him: cmon just give me it and i will give you the stars
Me: why cant you just show me
Him: cuz i will have to go really far to get them
Him: seriously
Me: i thought they were in storage
Him: they are but im not near one
Me: there is one in fm O.o

this happened to my friend, Dan (he plays in a different server)

He was on his Hermit when a scammer traded him
(they were in henesys market at the time)

Scammer: Hi
Dan: Hi
Scammer: Want me to recharge your stars for you?
Dan: no thanks
Scammer: Please i b really quick
Dan: -cancels trade-
Scammer: f4 and defames dan

Noob: Can i have mesos?
Shen: no

hows that a scam?

scammer-Can i try on your helmet plz
me-.....no
scammer-oh come on i just wanna know what it looks like
me-just go to the armor shop and check the preview look on it
scammer-Fine be that way, you should learn to trust ppl D=<
-proceeds to bother another person and says-

yeah i remember when i tried mab they have that feature where you can try stuff on.
i would have played the game more because it sounds like somehting i would like, but i just cbf learning a whole new game with different people and settings T_T
it will be like being a noob on maple all over again, and everyone knows how hard it was in the very beginning. (unless your jando are just pro from the start) it took me forever to get used to everything, and im STILL considered to be a noob DX

Lol the ppl in mab are a little more mature <_<
considering people require other peoples help on a lot of diffrent basis
and yeah if you had a tough time figuering out maple your gonna be braindead in this game...
i had to go through several times on mabiwki just to understand mainstream quests

i play mab also it happened to me a few days ago while i was in henseys a guy dressed in noob stuff come and ask for meso i click on him and he is a lvl 50 this is how it went
him- meso plz
me- (click on him) your lvl why do you need money
him- i was haxed
me- why do you have noob stuff then? if you were haxed i think you would be naked
him-(logs off)
