The purpose of this board is to list all words that are:
A. Used improperly
B. Misspelled

Grammer Only:
C. Improper placement

The second purpose of this board is to:
A. Educate users of proper spelling/usage
B. The addition of proper grammer in posting
C. Help users become better over-all typers and users of the English language.

Format: Word- Definition. Word used in example (italic)

Disclaimer: I do not have a degree in english. This is basic knowledge that all RPers, students, forum members and people in general should know. I am just placing this information here for everyone to have access to. If you disagree with anything I have posted please PM me and state your issue. I will then try to correct the error if there is one or show you that what I have posted is correct.

There - as in a place. Has the word 'here' in it. I am going over there to study.
Their - possessive. That is their dog with the collar.
They're- compound of they are. They're going to the store.

Quit- as in to stop or not continue. Why don't you quit your job?
Quiet- no sound, silence, little or no motion. It is supposed to be quiet in the library.
Quite- completely, wholly, or entirely 2. actually, really or truly. That was a quite a story that you told.

Your- possessive. He has your book on the shelf.
You're- compound you are. You're not going anywhere.

Through- this is the preposition. He climbed through the window. He thought through the problem.
Threw- action past tense, throw. He threw the rock at the cow in the field.
Throw- action pre-tense. Throw the rock at the target.
