PostSubject: THE THING IN THE FOREST PART 4   THE THING IN THE FOREST PART 4 Icon_minitimeFri Mar 19, 2010 6:14 am

Jando walked into Henesys, His mind was set on one thing. He had to see Athena, now. He also was thinking how on earth he could explain what he did to his friends. How can he explain to them that he exceeded to the 5th job, it would perfectly explain why he was using sword then his much loved Alchupaz, and give them a sense to his friends why he transferred his blood.

Jando pondered on this as his walk to Athena's office, beginner archers walking around with a bow and arrow in hand trying to fire it for the first time. A bunch of level 10's were having competitions at who can shoot a arrow the furthest.

A bunch of giggling girls exited the tree house that was Athena's office/house, it looked like they just advanced to bowmen and were ready to start there adventurer. Jando let them pass before entering the wooden archway.

"You've caused quite a commotion" Jando heard elf say to him as he entered. "Well I succeeded, you said it didn't matter what kind of messed I caused." Jando's response made Athena chuckle.

"How is she?" Athena's mood changed to that of complete concern. "That's why I am here, she took my blood fine but..." Jando's voice trailed off. "But what?! Did she accept it!? TELL ME!?" Athena, a women of a few words and that always kept her calm, broke out in frantic. Jando kept his silence, trying to form his next sentence. How can I say this....

After a slow minute of Jando staring down at the floor and Athena staring at Jando, he finally spoke. "She..her...legs...my blood only cured her figure, her bones however are still crushed...her legs are only keeping her form due to my blood, but that will soon fade away, being eliminated by her own blood." Jando's voice was quiet, with hints of sadness leaking out. Athena who was standing with her hands clenched in fists on the desk in front of her, sat down in shock. She had been hoping that Jando's blood would cure her bones aswell. Athena didn't want to come all this way of tracking then able to get her to a waste.

Only a few people could exceed to the legendary 5th job. You only get one shot at it aswell, if you fail you are stuck at 4th job. Athena failed and made it her goal to find candidates for this. Jando was her first, what took a year finally paid off as Jando became a Chaos Knight. Athena grew a strong bond between the warrior and Jando thought Athena as the mother he never had. There goal was to get other 5th job candidates for the upcoming war that no one knew about, problem was that they didn't know who was a candidate, but when they did they were either killed or died during there advancement to 5th.

Sarah was a candidate, Jando had spent the past month following her, Seeing if she was chosen, yes you were chosen to be able to attempt the 5th job advancement. Sarah was chosen. Chosen to accept the fate that she was born with. Chosen at birth by fate. The amount of people chosen to be able to achieve the 5th job was around 1 per 3 years. 90% of those chosen fail. Athena and Jando can't bare another failure, they have found 3 candidates, the first one died when they found him, the second died during her advancement and the third...well the third was consumed by the power and went crazy. Jando reached his limits taken him down. If they failed with Sarah, then the war that was foreseen would completely destroy them. This whole thing would have been for nothing. Completely futile.

The two stood there in silence as time ticked away

---
Sarah opened her eyes, her vision was blurred and she had to blink a couple of times before she could see. Once she could see she didn't recognize where she was, her heart sank at where she was. Waking up in a strangers bed was probably one of the most worst feelings ever. She sat up trying to think what she did last night...last night...Sarah's heart which had already fallen sank even further, that night, that laugh, that beast, her crippled legs..Sarah tore the covers off and she screamed in shock, there she was, there her legs were, perfectly unharmed, perfectly normal.

Sarah began to cry in happiness when she moved them. That night, it was so clear in her mind. Was it just a dream? Sarah looked on the other side of the king size bed. To her relief no one was there, but a lingering scent of male passed her nose whenever she took in a breathe. She liked it, made her clam.

It took her some time to she realized she was being stared at. Angie could on stare mindlessly at her, blinking occasionally as she watched the girl wake up. Sarah looked up to the girl who was staring at her. It was then they battled it out, stare vs stare, not only was this situation was awkward but highly uncomfortable. What person would want to wake up to find out some stranger was staring at her, and Angie was just checking up on her because she since her legs are...were crippled.

"ANGIE!!!!!!!!" Alek barged into the room, it broke the silence for only a moment and there the 2 girls stared at Alek. Alek didn't like awkward situation and immediately tried to find away to escape. He finally found it in him to say something. "You're up" Alek said in enthusiasm. At the moment they all heard the front door of the relatively big apartment. Angie and Alek's attention left the awaken girl and left the room, leaving Sarah confused, she got up and out of bed, finding it weird her legs worked perfectly and left the male scented room.

"JNDOW!!!!!!!! YOUR BACK!!!!!!!! NOW EXPLAIN YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!" Alek yelled out as Jando walked into the apartment. Jando ignored his unnaturally loud friend as his eyes fell onto Sarah. Perfectly standing there at the doorway of his bedroom. Her legs looking perfectly normal. The eerie silence in the apartment lingered once again. The whole guild who were pre-occupided with there own devices were now looking back and forth between the girl Jando brought in and Jando all thinking the same thing.

Who the fuck was she.

---

TO BE CONTINUED!

OMG 5TH JOB???! OMG SARAH CAN WALK?!!?!!??!! wait I thought her legs were only being supported (their shape) by Jando's blood o-e WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!?!!?!!!?!!?! FIND OUT IN THE NEXT INSTALLMENT OF TTITF!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone does, because people love testing things to see if it worked at all.
It's a source of pride, anyway, it's a little hazy in some areas, but I liked it.
