Has anyone noticed...?

Has anyone else been noticing these random green links being spotted around the forums? Like just a single word in a sentence in one of the random forum topic descriptions is somehow a link to an ad website... I was just wondering if thats just me or the whole forums doing that

Perhaps the forums is being haunted by a sinister ghoul thats causing random words to be come green and link you to a website of despair.

Or perhaps its just some auto link thing that the google bots are doing i dont know.

I see them on other websites, but never here. Maybe cause you're an Admin it triggered after you did some admin stuff?

Butttt I havnt done any admin stuff for a long time that would trigger it

I used to see them on here when I used internet explorer. I think you use firefox too though, so that's probably irrelevant.

I think my computer might have a virus or something. I just tried playing robot unicorn and it was so laggy that it looked like it was in slow motion, literally

Angie, i'm pretty sure your browser has some sort of add-on that finds like related things to words or something. I had something like that a while ago and it made everything really slow and obnoxious. It highlighted like random parts of articles and linked it somewhere. Yours is pretty similar and I'm pretty sure its the same thing.

Its not a virus. Its either your browser, or your browsers lack of a good ad blocker. If you use firefox, get ad blocker plus and see if that helps.
